Summary : Workplaces have been increasingly recognized as an important venue for supporting and building safety for domestic violence victims. It is important to understand factors that are associated with disclosure of domestic violence at the workplace. This study utilized data from a pan-Canadian online survey on domestic violence and the workplace as the basis for an analysis of sociodemographic variables and situational variables that may be associated with the likelihood that a victim discloses domestic violence at their workplace. Results revealed that over 40% of victims disclosed in the workplace, with varying disclosure rates according to sociodemographic characteristics and the experience of workplace interference tactics that spilled over into the workplace. Implications for addressing domestic violence in the workplace are discussed.
