The beauty of an Instant Pot is food that is tender and full of flavor. The food retains more nutrients and is tastier because the cooking time is cut notably and cooking requires less liquid. An Instant pot is especially great at softening up hard pieces of food. I'm talking mouth watering, fall of the bone meat- even if you cook non-defrosted, totally frozen tough meat! Imagine that. If you are a busy person then this will be your top reason to love an Instant pot. Do you ever feel like you really want to eat healthy home cooked meals but sadly you can't since you don't have the gift of time? Well, if you do then worry no more; Instant pot is here for the rescue. For instance, when you want to make goat stew, a slow cooker would take about 4 to 8 hours (note: I have nothing against slow cookers) whereas an Instant pot would only take 30 to 40 minutes. And lamb stew? Less than 30 minutes! Fall off the bone baby back pork ribs? Less than 25 minutes! I could go on all day but I'm sure you get the drift. The pot is also very energy efficient as the cooking time is shortened- precisely, it uses up to about 70% less energy than other methods of cooking. As much as I love travelling, time is not always on my side as I try to cover as much ground as I can within a short period. This drove me into getting myself an Instant Pot (which cooks super fast). I then went all around looking for easy and simple instant pot recipes for people like me who doesn't have all day to spend in the kitchen and this book was the result.
